Women Strengthening Women Woman2Woman was actually started in 1998. This group comes under the umbrella of Barton Ministries, Inc. a non-profit organization. Woman2Woman came into existance as a result of several women finding themselves searching for a change. Many women often find themselves displaced and in need of a change. We consist of women from very diverse backgrounds. We started just as a group of women desiring more out of life and needing the support/encouragement of other women. It was found that through this support women were able to do things that they once thought impossible or achieve dreams they thought were lost. We came to realize that Women have so much to offer one another regardless of our differences. We understand each other. We are our best support. We strive to see each and every Woman succeed. Each of us may have different goals but we push each to succeed. Each defines their own success. We have linked up to work with women from one extreme to the next. It could go from situations such as iincarcerated, abused (physically and verbally), to housewives, and women who just lost sight of their dreams in life and find themselves in need of a push. W2W consists of 2 components in order to meet the needs of women today I. We offer a curriculum that will start and lead each woman into a true change in their lives. We give the tools, support, and ecouragement necessary to obtain change. II. We also offer monthly meetings for those interested in a spiritual change in their lives. We strive to assist every women in achieving her God Given Destiny while fostering a more intimate relationship with our Father. We feel this is a very important compenent. But this is not mandatory. It is by choice. Most important is the simple fact that "W2W" is here for all women-if they so desire. |

We believe that each woman if given the opportunity, the tools and the correct support has the ability to thrive and achieve. We believe that through strengthening and loving ourselves. We can help others to do the same one day at a time. We believe that God will give us favor and advantages to help others overcome obstacles by turning them into opportunities. We believe we can be women that entrust our Faith in God, know our self-worth, walk in intergrity and dignity. |
